Lush Review : 2017 Christmas Exclusives

Image
I Have concluded that some of my bath bombs are on strike and have decided to not work properly.  Golden Slumbers Bath Bomb   Golden Slumbers is exactly what its name says that it is. It is a gold coloured bath bomb, full of lavender oil, lavender absolute, chamomile oil and neroli. This concoction will life your mood right before making you want to doze off in your nice, warm bath. The Golden Slumbers bath bomb smells amazingly natural, and the scent persists throughout the dissolving and throughout your bath. It even stays on your skin after you exit your bath. Although the lavender is quite strong, the chamomile oil adds a hint of sweetness. When this bath bomb first hits, it starts to begin to dissolve immediately. Although Golden Slumbers is meant to spread foam across the surface, my bath bomb sank to the bath and started fizzing out at the bottom of the bath. This did not affect the consistency of it dissolving. Meaning, it dissolved properly ...

Lush review : 2017 Halloween Exclusives

Image
Hello, welcome to another review that I am posting way too late; thus, it is not fulfilling its purpose on showing you wonderful products that you can buy :) Why do I always get the bad bath bombs? Ectoplasm jelly bath bomb is part of the Halloween range that Lush brought out this year. Unfortunately, I think these are not on sale anymore. However, I am still going to tell you a little bit about it. First thing's first, I love the design of this bath bomb. The larger part of it is a lovely dark purple; however, it has cream round shapes. There is one round shape that is actually a ghost. I think that this makes the bath bomb fit the Halloween and spooky theme. Obviously, the name Ectoplasm also gives this bath bomb a fitting theme for Halloween. The scent held by the Ectoplasm jelly bath bomb is a blend of Grapefruit Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, and Tangerine Oil. However, although you expect a very fruity, as soon as I smelled the aroma around me I was reminded of ...

Lush Christmas Range 2016

Image
Hey !   I know that it's March but better late than never, right?   Today I am going to talk about three products that I have tried from the 2016 Christmas Range. Shoot for the stars   It frustrates me that I will be talking about this wonderful bath bomb and you can't even get it in store. The bath bomb is Shoot For The Stars, and although I am hoping that it will be a part of the 2017 Christmas Range, I am worried that they will either change it again or go back to their original Shoot for the Stars bath bomb that was released a few years ago.   This gorgeous bath bomb is a deep shade of blue with three golden stars embedded on the surface. Although I haven’t even tried the other version of this bath bomb, I must say that I am in love with the simple exterior of this new version.  The stars act as little bath melts  since they release a lot of oils as they slowly dissolve.      ...

Lush Review : Mother's Day Exclusives

Image
Hey ! Two weeks ago it was Mother's Day in the United Kingdom and Lush had Mother's Day Lush exclusives...SO I ORDERED SOME since I have a Lush problem.  I wanted to try 3 products but there weren't 3 different bath bombs so I decided to try something different like I did for the Valentine's Day post. I tried a Bubble Bar, Shower Cream and bath bomb (just like in my post.) Ladybug bubble bar Oh, I love it. I love it. I LOVE IT. First, I want to apologise to this lovely bubble bar for cutting up its head for use. Secondly, I want to talk about HOW AMAZING IT WAS TO USE. Upon having a whiff I concluded that it smells like a flower but my knowledge of flowers sucks so I had to google the scent on the Lush website ; it smells like geranium. If you use the head of this little wonder and start crumbling it from the inner side then you will get beautiful pinky-red water and plenty of bubbles. I must warn you that it is a tad difficult to crumble under the running ...
