My First Giveaway !
Hey !
So I have had this
blog for over a year now, and I have never done a giveaway. When you read tips
on how to grow your blog there is always mentioned to host a giveaway but I
have never thought that my blog would be actually read. Although my numbers
aren't high, I want to try out the tip that everyone seems to mention. So..
I am hosting a
giveaway.
This will be my
first one, and I am so excited that it’s going to be a Book Giveaway. All of
these books are book pre-owned as I had bought them and read them. They’re all
great books that I have loved so much but to be honest, it's been so long since
I read them that I can't tell you what I thought of them in a detailed mini
review so I am going to cheat a little and just post the goodreads link to all
of them.
Naomi and Ely's No
Kiss List & Lula Does The Hula.
These are going to be one prize since they are both really fun books to read.
Lula Does The Hula had a
small element of mystery to it which I thought spiced up the whole romance
thing that was going on. A word of warning - apparently Lula Does The Hula is
book 2 in a series; I was completely unaware of that. (It's what happens when
you just HAVE to leave the bookstore with at least three books- you don't do
your research and grab random books). However, I must say, I think
it's a
completely different story as I didn't realize that there was a previous book
from the book itself.
If you have read my
blog before than you know how much I love Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. I wrote
a whole post about it and it's film adaptation ! So if you want to know some
things just check out what I had to say, or go on Goodreads.
I am going to be honest right now. I got this book from my mum, and I left it on the shelves for months before picking it up and opening up. This was because I thought it was a self help boo, but ,boy, was I wrong.
The Vintage Guide to Love and Romance basically is about Jessica Beam and her grandmother, Matilda Beam, using advice from Matilda's books about love ,published in the 50's, and trying to see if they can still use that advice to win a man's heart in today's day and age. It doesn't sound like much but do not underestimate this book. It will make you burst out laughing at so many moments that you will feel like you haven't had a proper laugh in a long time !
The Best Thing that Never Happened to MeI don't remember what this book was about *hangs head down in shame*. Don't you hate it when you look at a book and think 'Damn, i loved reading this book.' then ask yourself what it's about and you just blank?

ReplyDeleteLoving this giveaway! It's soo adorable, my favourite book genre is anything supernatural and teen fiction. I'm at an awe to them all! There's not enough teenage years to read all teen fiction!
